Family Life Educator 

Sandra joined the United Way team in June of 2023 as a Family Life Educator. She was proud to have interned within the organization through California’s College Corp Program before transitioning into a full-time staff role. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Cal State Bakersfield and hopes to graduate in Fall of 2023. During her internship with United Way of Kern County, Sandra discovered a passion for helping her community and sharing all available resources to those in need. As a Family Life Educator, she is excited to continue along this path and help promote healthy living and sexual education.
