Education Manager

As the Education Manager, Andrea oversees education and early literacy initiatives that assist in the improvement of the Kern County Community. Andrea’s dream is to build the necessary connections and partnerships with surrounding partners and resources to assist growth and make our community that much stronger.  With her, she brings 15 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She has had multiple jobs related to development and education; from having her own in-home daycare in 2007 to working with the Migrant Education Program as a recruiter, then School Readiness Assistant to later becoming a Director at a private Preschool Center.  While maintaining a full-time job and building her family, Andrea was able to remain a part-time student and obtained her B.S. in Early Childhood and Adolescent Development in 2019. Although it has been a long journey she is proud to be where she is and to serve her community.
