Despite the uncertainty of having a 2020-2021 season due to the coronavirus, the Bakersfield Condors are still looking to keep old traditions alive.

The team is still planning on holding their 22nd annual Teddy Bear Toss this season with a few tweaks to it this year. It’ll be held as a drive-thru style event.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 28, people can drive to the back of Mechanics Bank Arena and toss their teddy bears.

The stuffed animals are collected by United Way Kern County who donates them to less fortunate kids.
