President & CEO, Mari Pérez-Dowling nominated for 2022 Hispanic Hero Award

We at United Way of Kern County want to congratulate our President & CEO, Mari Pérez-Dowling on the nomination for the first-ever Hispanic Hero Award. Mari has been nominated and selected to be honored as a 2022 Hispanic Hero. We would like to thank Lotus Bakersfield Corp. and the Spanish Radio group for this honor and recognition.

“Congratulations on your nomination for the first-ever Hispanic Hero Award presented by
Lotus Bakersfield Corp and the Spanish Radio Group. From September 19, through October 17,
2022, All four SRG stations will honor local Hispanics who have made a difference in
Bakersfield and throughout Kern County.

All nominations were diligently reviewed and after careful consideration by our staff and the
promotion committee. We are delighted to share with you have been selected to be honored as a 2022
Hispanic Hero.
