United Way

3rd Annual Circle of Friends Celebration

Circle of Friends Program

Due to the recent Omicron surge and COVID-19 spreading rapidly in Kern County, we feel that it is in our community’s best interest to make our annual Circle of Friends Celebration virtual, and we hope that you can join us on February 3rd via Zoom! We appreciate your understanding with moving our event virtually. We want to ensure a safe environment for all guests and help Kern County stay safe & healthy.

In 2021, we saw a light at the end of the tunnel. Children finally returned to the classroom, parents and individuals got back to work, and annual events came back alongside the communities they serve. Our focus this year was on rebuilding Kern County from the darkest parts of the pandemic so we can continue to see our friends and neighbors thrive once again. United Way of Kern County's Circle of Friends Celebration is a time to highlight programs, services and events we have put on that made an impact in the community, and to honor those in our community who so graciously helped us along the way. We would be unable to do what we do without those who rise to the occasion and give their time, resources, donations, and skills for the betterment of the community of Kern County. We want to extend a great thank you to everyone who showed up to help in 2021 and looking forward to 2022.
