United Way

Clean Air Initiative

United Way of Kern County has directed focus to clean air within Kern County. With the support from the California Air Resource Board, United Way will bring awareness to climate change by planting forty new trees in Kern County. We encourage our Kern residents to change daily habits. We ask if our residents focus on: conserving energy, carpool, use public transportation, bike, or walk, use safe paints and cleaning products, mulch or compost leaves and yard waste. Together we can #LiveUnited!
